Finding Your Way Out Of The Wild Wood

When we fail, I’m reminded that we can rely on the Holy Spirit to come through for us, helping us find our way out of the wild wood.

Wild Wood by Paul Weller on Grooveshark

High tide – mid afternoon
People fly by in the traffics boom
Knowing – where you’re blowing
Getting to where you should be going.
Don’t let them get you down
Making you feel guilty about
Golden rain bring you riches
All the good things – you deserve now.

Climbing forever trying
Find your way out – of the wild wild wood
Now there’s no justice
There’s only yourself – that you can trust in
And I said – high tide mid afternoon
People fly by in the traffics boom
Knowing – just where you’re blowing
Getting to where you should be going.

Day by day your world fades away
Waiting to feel – all the dreams that say
Golden rain will bring you riches
All the good things – you deserve now – and I say
Climbing forever trying
Find your way out – of the wild wild wood

Just Breathe – Willie Nelson

Just Breathe (Featuring Lukas Nelson) by Willie Nelson on Grooveshark

Just Breathe by Iconic Band Pearl Jam:
Yes, I understand that every life must end, uh-huh
As we sit alone, I know someday we must go, uh-huh
Oh I’m a lucky man, to count on both hands the ones I love
Some folks just have one, yeah, others, they’ve got none

Stay with me…
Let’s just breathe…

Practiced all my sins, never gonna let me win, uh-huh
Under everything, just another human being, uh-huh
I don’t wanna hurt, there’s so much in this world to make me bleed

Stay with me
You’re all I see…

Did I say that I need you?
Did I say that I want you?
Oh, if I didn’t I’m a fool you see
No one knows this more than me

As I come clean…
I wonder everyday, as I look upon your face, uh-huh
Everything you gave
And nothing you would save, oh no

Nothing you would take
Everything you gave…

Did I say that I need you?
Oh, did I say that I want you?
Oh, if I didn’t I’m a fool you see
No one knows this more than me
And I come clean, ah…

Nothing you would take
Everything you gave
Hold me til I die
Meet you on the other side…

Willie and his son, Lukas Nelson, perform “Just Breathe” live at the Farm Aid concert in Hershey, Pennsylvania on September 22, 2012. Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid’s board of directors in 2001.

Farm Aid’s performances are donated by the artists in order to raise funds and raise awareness for family farmers.

Human Being by Cat Power on Grooveshark

You’ve got a right
You’ve got a right
You’ve got a right, you’re a human being

You’re a human being
You’re a human being
You’re a human being

You’ve got a right to scream
When the dark one’s here to stay
You’ve got a right to be
What you want and where you wanna be

You’ve got a right to breathe
To breathe
You’ve got a right
You’re a human being

You’ve got your own voice so sing
You’ve got two hands, let’s go and make anything
We all got rules we all have to break
We all have to make those mistakes

When I say, I know the way, I’m only trying
No don’t nobody know where the road to life is really lying
See the people on TV get shot in their very own street
People just like you, people just like me

Can’t you see you cut your hand on the advantages
You could stand to manage your damages
You, my dear, are a force to feed, not to fear

You’ve got a right to anywhere, anything
You’ve got a right, you’ve got a right
You’re a human being

You’ve got a right to anywhere, anything
You’ve got a right, you’ve got a right
You’re a human being

Happy Birthday Mozart!

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart baptized Johannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart (January, 27 1756 – December, 5 1791) was a prolific and influential composer of the Classical era. He composed over 600 works in his 36 years of life, many acknowledged as pinnacles of symphonic music. Mozart showed prodigious ability from an early age of 2. Already competent on keyboard and violin, he composed from the age of five and performed before European royalty. He was raised a Roman Catholic and remained a member of the Church throughout his life. Mozart’s last year was, until his final illness struck, a time of great productivity—and by some accounts, one of personal recovery. He composed a great deal, including some of his most admired works: the opera The Magic Flute and the unfinished Requiem K.
