Full of Grace Means To Be Free From Sin

When the Angel Gabriel announces Christ’s coming birth when saying the ‘Hail Mary’ a mystery is also revealed about Mary herself – Her immaculate conception, Mary was kept clean from Original sin . Mary is considered the “Second Eve”. She reversed the disobedience of our first mother, and with the willingness to be the Mother of God, she became a mother to every human being. A beautiful day when Mary was born became a day we could all be free from sin if we are willing.

One source of Chaminade’s inspiration came from prayerful reflection on the Church community presented in the Acts of the Apostles.

How did the fear­ful little community of the Upper Room, through the Holy Spirit, become the vibrant missionary Church of the later chapters of Acts?

Blessed Chaminade noted three key elements in the Church of Acts: the centrality of Mary, the need for inclusiveness, and the urgency to foster faith and a deep sense of missionary activity.

Xavier Rudd – Amazing Musician who is a visionary in our world! Played this song, Better People, at the November 7, 2012 Chicago House of Blues show. It was incredible!! Check out his new 2012 Album, Spirit Bird – very spiritual. All the way from Australia, he brought his spirit and vision. Songs encompassed prayers. They spread amongst the crowd, out into our universe. The concert was very transforming and intense. The music was rocking. The didgeridoo, a wind instrument developed by Indigenous Australians of northern Australia around 1,500 years ago, blew us awayyyyyy.
