Random Acts of Kindness

Real stories about real people:

17-year-old Meghan Vogel was in last place in the 3,200-meter run when she caught up to competitor Arden McMath, whose body was giving out. Instead of running past her to avoid the last-place finish, Vogel put McMath’s arm around her shoulders, carried her 30 meters, and then pushed her over the finish line before crossing it.

Happy Labor Day – A prayer for work

Sometimes it is hard to push ourselves to do the work we need to complete. Seeing a spiritual purpose in that work can help. This prayer to St. Joseph, patron of workers, helps us call to mind that all of our labor is, in fact, part of our struggle on the road to heaven.

Prayer for Fidelity to Work

Glorious St. Joseph, model of all who are devoted to labor, obtain for me the grace to work conscientiously, putting the call of duty above my natural inclinations; to work with gratitude and joy, considering it an honor to employ and develop, by means of labor, the gifts received from God, disregarding difficulties and weariness; to work, above all, with purity of intention and with detachment from self, having always before my eyes death, and the account which I must render of time lost, of talents wasted, of good omitted, of vain complacency in success, so fatal to the work of God. All for Jesus, all for Mary, all after your example, patriarch Joseph. This will be my watchword in life and in death. Amen.

Its All Within

“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars and to change the world.” ~Harriet Tubman

Mary shows us Future Restoration of all Things in Christ

Artist Commentary:

“The Assumption of Mary body and soul into Heaven is a sign of the future restoration of all things in Christ, the resurrection of the body and the bestowing upon those who are saved their new and glorious bodies. Like all human beings, she died a physical death. Rising from the dead by the merits of her Son, and taken up to Paradise, she intercedes that we too may dwell in glory, body and soul”

-prolific author, Michael O’Brein

The Greatest Marian Feast

The Feast of Assumption of Mary is an ancient feast that tells us not only about the honor that Christ accorded His mother, but about our ultimate end, in the resurrection of the body.

Also known as the Dormition among Eastern Catholics and Eastern Orthodox, Dormition literally means “the falling asleep.” It is the original name for the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and Eastern Christians, both Catholic and Orthodox, continue to use it today.

Mary wasn’t assumed into Heaven because she was somehow more than human; her Assumption is actually a sign of what it means to be truly human–a condition that is possible only through the grace that comes through our faith in Christ.

God’s Pharmacy & Food Value Chart

It’s been said that God first separated the salt water from the fresh, made dry land, planted a garden, made animals and fish… All before making a human. He made and provided what we’d need before we were born. These are best & more powerful when eaten raw. We’re such slow learners…
God left us a great clue as to what foods help what part of our body!
God’s Pharmacy! Amazing!

Carrot Image

A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye. The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye.  Science shows carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.
Tomato Image

A Tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart has four chambers and is red. Research shows tomatoes are loaded with lycopine and are pure heart and blood food.
Grape Image
Grapes hang in a heart-shaped cluster. Each grape looks like a blood cell. Research shows grapes are also profound heart and blood vitalizing food.
Walnut Image
A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds on the nut are just like the neo-cortex. Walnuts help develop more than 3 dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.
Kidney Beans
Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys!
Celery Stalk Image
Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and many more look just like bones. These foods  target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don’t have enough sodium in your diet, the body pulls it from the bones, which makes them weak.
Avacadoe Image
Avocadoes, Eggplant and Pears target the health and function of the womb and female cervix and look just like these organs.  When a woman eats one avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight, and prevents cervical cancers.
Fig Image
Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the mobility of male sperm and increase sperm count to overcome male sterility.
Sweet Potatoe image
Sweet Potatoes look like the pancreas and actually balance the glycemic index of diabetics.
Olives
Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries
Oranges Image
Oranges, Grapefruits, and other Citrus fruits look just like a female’s mammary glands. They assist in breast health and lymph node movements in and from the breasts.
Onion Image

Onions look like the body’s cells. Research shows onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells. They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes. A working companion, Garlic, also helps eliminate waste materials and dangerous free radicals from the body.

Psalm 23

THIS CAME TO ME FROM A FRIEND.

The Lord is my Shepherd = That’s Relationship!

I shall not want = That’s Supply!

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures = That’s Rest!

He leadeth me beside the still waters = That’s Refreshment!

He restoreth my soul = That’s Healing!

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness = That’s Guidance!

For His name sake = That’s Purpose!

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
= That’s Testing!

I will fear no evil = That’s Protection!
For Thou art with me = That’s Faithfulness!
Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me = That’s Discipline!

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine
Enemies = That’s Hope!

Thou annointest my head with oil = That’s Consecration!

My cup runneth over = That’s Abundance!

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life = That’s Blessing !

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord = That’s Security!

Forever = That’s Eternity!

Face it, the Lord is crazy about you.

Send this to people you are crazy about..

I thought this was pretty special, just like YOU!!!

What is most valuable,

Is not what we have in our lives, but

WHO we have in our lives!

Do not ask the Lord to Guide your Footsteps if you are not
Willing to move your Feet’
Peace.
