Camp Wojtyla – An amazing experience for high schoolers
Camp Wojtyla is located in the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains near the Saint Malo Center. Camp Wojtyla is named after Pope John Paul II, who, as a young priest, then known as Fr. Karol Wojtyla, shared the gospel with young people while hiking Poland’s breathtaking Tatra mountains, backpacking through her forests and kayaking Poland’s rivers and lakes. Pope John Paul II stayed at St. Malo in 1993. Each Camp Wojtyla participant attends daily Mass at the beautiful Stone Chapel at Saint Malo.
